How charities can help boost giving

Charities can play an important role in revitalising giving by individuals, according to a recent NPC report, 'Ten ways to boost giving'.

Philanthropy in the UK has stagnated and charities, government and companies all have a part to play in creating cultures and legislation to support giving.

The report cites two areas where charities can make a difference; the first is in communicating their impact to donors and the second is in managing better their relationships with donors so as to make giving to their cause easier and a more enjoyable experience.
